Everything you need to know about returns for online and store purchases.

RETURN OF STORE PURCHASE

You can return items purchased in our physical store within 14 days from the date of purchase. Items purchased in our physical store can be exchanged for another item or for a store credit voucher upon presentation of the receipt or exchange tag attached to the item. We do not offer cash refunds for items purchased in our physical store.

All items for exchange or return must be unused and in their original packaging.

You can also return your online purchases in our physical store.

 

 

RETURN OF ONLINE PURCHASE

Kartotek Copenhagen accepts returns and exchanges of online purchases within 14 days from the date of reception.

All items must be returned in their original packaging and in the same state they were received in. Returns are processed at your own risk and expense, and is to be handled by you.

If you wish to return your order, please contact us by email at webshop@kartotekcopenhagen.dk stating your order number and the reason for the return. Please note that expense for the return shipment is paid by you. The return must be sent in secure packaging to:

Please enclose a note with your order number, a list of the returned items, your telephone number, and email address.

You are always welcome to return your items to our physical store.

 

Exchange: If you wish to exchange for something else, please visit our website and place a new order. This ensures that the new item is in stock and will be delivered promptly, and that your receipt matches your purchase.
 

Refund of amount: Once we have received the return-items and checked that the state of the items lives up to our return requirements, we will credit the amount to the card used for the purchase.

Depreciation of value: You are only liable for any depreciation in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

If the item has been used and/or the packaging has been removed, you will be responsible for the depreciation in value. In certain cases, the depreciation may be up to 100%, if the item is no longer marketable.

The depreciation of the used item is determined based on what Kartotek Copenhagen ApS can obtain for it in further sale. This determination is made after receiving the item. The costs associated with determining the value, photographing, describing, and listing the used item in Kartotek Copenhagen ApS' sales system are the responsibility of the buyer. Once we have received the item back and confirmed that it meets the conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal, we will transfer the purchase amount with a deduction of the depreciation to the used payment card within a few days.

 

 

MISSING PICK UP/RECEPTION OF PACKAGE

If you do not pick up your package at the selected pickup point before the deadline expires, or if you do not wish to receive the package from us when it is being delivered to your address, the package will automatically be returned to us, and we will be charged a return shipping fee accordingly. This amount will be deducted when the purchase is refunded.

If you have changed your mind about your purchase, it would therefore be more cost-effective for you to receive your package and subsequently return it to us yourself, as the costs for this are significantly lower than the return shipping fee.

If your package goes missing during shipping, you have to contact and file a claim to the local branch of the shipping company used for the shipment.
